After the pack is assembled, Lightning steps forward to the edge of the rock that towers over the meeting place. As most of you know, we have lost a few members of our fading pack. This may take the lives of many of us which will leave the pack with a much smaller population. As a precaution Leopard has taken an apprentice since the death of Tiger. I am here to assign a wolf to be our new beta.

Lightning Our new beta is Eclipse.

Eclipse was shocked.

Lightning Since I told Saba that I would lead the pack as alphas until I found the next true alpha, I will see to it that Eclipse can lead the pack well before I step down.

As Lightnings steps back Leopard begins to step forward.

Leopard noticed that Jane and Alec weren't with Eclipse so she walks over to her. Where and how are they?

Eclipse They are ok. Cloud came to me and told me to go to the meeting that she would watch them.
