Polo: Alrighty then. Night you guys! Better be up by day break! In response he received a couple of groans and laid down on his mat.
Storm: Rolling eyes at Polo's statement she shook her head. I bet you he won't be up at daybreak.
Castiel: After hours of not being able to sleep he just stared at the sky, watching the last of the embers die out. How is everyone over there?

Zaniel looks at Storm. "I wake him myself."

Zadia laid in the sand, staring at the sky. "They're fine. I guess Zaniel got a boyfriend. Keynai is being his usual self and just trying to get by." She looks at Castiel. "I know you must dislike Keynai but he's not really as bad as you may think."

Storm: Sounds fair. Dragging out her mat she placed it a couple feet away from the fire and fell asleep.
Castiel: Yeah. Nothing will change though. His voice seemed to sleepily cling to the air, but the older gentleman seemed to find himself wide awake when a cool sea breeze hit him. An awkward shiver later and Castiel was re-stoking the fire to try and revive it.

Zadia looks back at the sky. "Things change all the time. Sometimes they just take time."

Later that night, Zaniel found himself flipping the knife around in his hands. They had forgotten to take it from him. He looked out at the ocean, still flipping the knife around in his hand.

Castiel: All things take time, love. But the question is, how much time is it going to take? You see? It's a never ending line of questions, time is.
Echo: Not being able to sleep she snuck out and sat down beside Zaniel.You okay?Echo asked placing her arms around her waist and sleepily yawning. What are you thinking about, Zaniel?

"Until you get to the end," Zadia says.

Zaniel didn't answer and though he'd cut himself a couple times without noticing it, he didn't act as if he was hurt. He felts something wet and warm through his pants but didn't pay it any attention. He already knew what it was from - the arm resting on his leg.

Castiel: Do you believe in life after death?
Echo: Zaniel? Zaniel! Blood!
Polo: Groggily he walks out. What's with all of the commotion? The rest of us are trying to sle- A glimmer of blood catches his attention and Polo grabs the knife in his hand, cutting himself. Putting down the knife he examines his wounds. Zaniel? He whispers, shooing away Echo. Zaniel, answer me.

Zadia shrugs. "I don't know what is after death. To be honest, who does? We sit here and think of these gods and such that have created these places for the good and the bad but how would be know that these places are true? No one has gone through death and back. No one has been truly revived. For all we know, death could just literally be an eternal sleep. I don't know what is after death but I'd like to hope that we go somewhere, reborn or not."

Zaniel wouldn't answer and just kept staring out at the ocean. He was frozen in place as well.

Castiel: Well...if there is a heaven and hell at least my cup of coffee will always be hot. We all like to think there is, but I kind of think there isn't. If there is a heaven, wouldn't it expand forever? If we re-incarnate why don't we have any memories of our past life?
Polo: Gently shakes him. Zaniel! Snap out of it! Come on, listen to me!

Zadia looks at Castiel. "Loss of memory during reincarnation? Maybe we are reincarnated as an animal. Animals don't have the vocal structures to talk as we do, so maybe that is what we'd become."

Zaniel slowly turns his head and looks at Polo. He seemed faraway as if he were lost in another world.

Castiel: Well, maybe- you hear that? Castiel gets quiet and you could soon hear a faint voice calling out to Zadia.
Polo: Zadia! Keynai! Someone help! Elijah! Help!

Zadia gets up and starts running toward the voice.

Elijah wakes up and groggily asks, "What?"

Zaniel suddenly starts to freak out and jumps away from Polo.

Castiel: Quietly slam king begins he watches the scene in front of him unfold. Everything was tense and the air was filled with confusion. Huh?

Zadia falls to her knees beside Zaniel, who immediately spulls her into a hug and starts crying. His arm was still bleeding but neither of them paid it any attention. Zadia hugged him back and rocked with Zaniel as if he were a child. Zadia looks at Polo and motions for him to come. She wanted him to get used to dealing with this sort of thing with Zaniel.

Elijah watches as if it were nothing new, though still concerned. He'd seen Zaniel act this way many times before, though he'd never seen him cut himself before. Zadia spoke of it but he never wanted to believe it. Zaniel had seemed like such a happy and fun person. He sighs. But maybe that makes me as blind as the rest of the world when it comes to this. He watched Zadia and Zaniel, imagining of how hard it must be on them both and now Polo was part of it. Zadia's words replayed in his head over and over: I can only hope that some day he finds someone willing to go along with his condition, protect him, and be with him every day of his life because I won't be able to do so myself when I am older. He cannot be left alone and must be watched constantly. Too many people cannot understand him as I do, which is why they often turn around and walk away the moment Zaniel starts to freak out.

Polo: Now understanding he kneeled down and hugged Zaniel, quietly beginning to hum.
Storm: Peeking out from the makeshift tent she watches for a moment or two, seeing the sun start to rise. Groaning she attempts to brush the knots out of her hair with her fingers, and doesn't really succeed. Finding Echo she gently taps her with her foot. Getting no response she kicks her a bit too hard getting a satisfactory, "I'm up, mom. Stop." I'm not mom. Now get up. We have exploring to do.
Echo: Dear lord...Rubbing her back from the swift blow to it she dizzily staggers to the water, splashing her face with the semi-cool water. Well...that's refreshing. Echo dully states, rubbing the salt water out of her eyes.
Polo: Glancing at Zadia he motions her over to the side.

Castiel: Oh. Nodding he zoned out for a bit before turning towards her. With a straight face Castiel drew in a quick breath. If God got in a fight with a T-Rex, who do you think would win?
Echo: BREAKFAST! She sing-song yells out. I HAVE BREAKFAST. FISH!
Polo:Food? I love you. Awkwardly Polo hugs her, taking the fish. I'm starving.

Keynai is nowhere to be seen.

Castiel: Staring at her he slowly nodding, reassuring her. Well?
Polo: Everyone is acting odd today. Where is Keynai?
Echo: I'm not sure, he just kind of wandered off. He will show up soon I bet.
Storm: Surprise attack! Jumping onto Elijah's back she grabs a hold of him with one hand and uses her other to point directly in front of her. ONWARD! INTO BATTLE!

Storm: Nope! Now let's go!
Polo: Guys what are you doing!?!
Echo: Leave them alone, they are fine. Polo starts to protest and Echo raises the blade up at him. Don't you dare. Go get some more water, we will need it for the journey.
Polo: Well aren't you demanding...Zaniel, do you feel like coming with?

Zadia shrugs. I don't know. I have my doubts about both sides. I kind of think some things just aren't meant to be known and we're too curious for our own good.

Elijah runs forward, still carrying Storm on his back.

Zaniel nods. Yep.

Castiel: Poking at the dead rabbit he had killed he nodded, slipping back into his thoughts once again. That seems to be true indeed. Pretty good observation if you ask me.
Storm: After a while of this she jumped down, containing her laughter. That was fun, huh?
Polo: Thanks. Taking his hand he slowly started his journey to where the water was. Hey, Zaniel?
