Katie: I walk to my room to change. My pink hair is pulled up into a ponytail and I had put on a cover-up over my bathing suit. When I walk out, someone knocks on the door.

Keynai takes a pair of black swimming trunks out of a duffel bag he'd brought with him. He changes into them and walks out of his room.

Zane: I'm sure you have brilliant ideas all the time, but people just think too highly of themselves to accept them.

Katie: I go to the front door and open it to see my mailman, an acquaintance of mine as we went to school together, holding a letter. I took the letter with a smile.

The mailman: It looked rather important.

Katie: Looking down at the envelope I, too, could see that it must be of some importance. I nod Thank you. I really must go. Have a nice day!

The mailman: I smiled and nodded to her as I walked off.

Katie: I shut the door and walked to my room. I set the letter down on my nightstand, whatever it was could wait until later. Walking out, I went to the pool.

Keynai walks to the pool. A scar ran from his collar bone to his hip. Multiple others were all over his back. He stayed turned at an angle where Katie couldn't see much of his back.

Katie: I noticed a few scars on Keynai's back, but I didn't say anything about it. He had told me that his parents were abusive. I could guess that the scars were from that from them. I was surprised at how long the scar at his collar bone was, but I didn't let it show.
