Katie: The memory echoed in my mind: I felt a sharp pain as a knife cut me. It had caught my wrist. I held my arm against me as the woman standing before me raised her knife. I was trembling as I realized this would be the end for me. Just a moment later there was a loud yell as Peyton jumped at the woman. "Run, Katie! Go on," Peyton had said once she had the woman pinned. I felt lightheaded, but I ran. When I reached the door, I was able to open it, but I didn't take another step before I passed out. When I awoke again Alianna was sitting with me and my wrist was bandaged. I was quiet as I thought about it.

Keynai seemed to be reluctant to leave. He heads to the kitchen for some food.

Alianna: I was standing in the kitchen drinking a glass of water. There was a book in my hand that I looked away from as Keynai walked in.

Keynai quietly walks to the fridge and takes out a bottle of water and an apple.
William walked in just as Keynai turned. You're skinny enough... Eat something fattening.
Keynai shrugs. His metabolism played a big part in keeping him skinny anyways. It wouldn't help much.

William He eats too many things that won't help him gain anything. I wouldn't be surprised if we could see his ribs.
Keynai rolls his eyes.

Alianna: At least he eats something. And I am sure he eats enough that his ribs don't show.

Katie: I walk downstairs after a few minutes and go outside. Laying in the grass, I watched the clouds float by. The grass was soft and warm from the sun shining down.
