Katie: Is everything okay? I look over to see who it was. I was a little surprised to see that it was Keynai, but I didn't let that show.

Keynai looks at her as if saying "I should be asking you that." He crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow. His other eye was sort of covered by his hair.

Katie: My pink hair fell in my face. I just had a bad encounter with someone the other day... This lady that I knew was talking bad about my mom, my sister, and me. She also told me that it was her who k- I stopped suddenly.

Zane: I started walking to the empty room and opened the door. I held the door for Abbie.

Katie: She killed my mother, too. My voice cracked as I spoke. I tried to fight my tears back. She killed them out of jealousy.

Zane: So, what do you think of the room? Will this do?

Keynai nods, understanding her pain. My parents were abusive but my father went to war and wasn't at all normal when he returned. He was worse than before. He slept and carried a knife around with him. That's how I got this scar. He touches the scar peeking out of his shirt collar and feels a chill go down his spine from other memories from the other scars covering his back and chest. I knew he hadn't meant to do it but... I ran away and returned only a few days later. The house was up for sale and my parents were gone. He still couldn't understand why he was telling her this but he still knew he wouldn't tell her much more. Will found me wandering the streets two years later. I was afraid of him at first but really... the only thing I had to fear was his parents. They were abusive as well but much less than my own. Every now and then they'd hit him if he did something wrong. Almost rarely, actually. However, there's other... larger reasons for why he acts the way he does. The thought pains me because he's only hurting himself. He sighs. I went through similar but he got the worst.

Katie: I'm so sorry. Here I am complaining when I have had a pretty easy life, while you guys had it far worse. I look to Keynai. I'm sorry about what happened to you. And thanks for sharing your story with me. I know it must not be easy.

Abbie: *blushes some* thanks, but I don't think I have quite mastered it.....I can never be as good of a dancer as mom was...there is one move right at the end of the dance.....that I just can't get right *sighs some* my mom choreographed it and I just can't seem to do it as well as her

Keynai Nobody's life is just easy. Eventually people die or do something stupid and they lose loved ones.

Katie: I know, but I never had problems with my parents and I never had to worry about anything except when I was taking care of my sister. I only had to deal with loss. By no means is loss easy to deal with, but things could have been much worse...
