River: my ranking I began with was not only omega but an omega pup whose father claimed her brother but disowned her as family.....my mother was the omega and my father was the alpha....he fell in love with my mother....somehow and then wouldnot claim me as his own child and banished my mother, I was forbidden to leave the pack, I tried to leave and was hunted back down and held prisoner....then I killed my brother thinking that would somehow solve my problems, but because he was the alphas son AND an albino wolf I was banished, in my pack you were considered something higher than a normal wolf if you were an albino......I was almost killed on the spot but I made it and somehow ended up here......and don't think I have shard my whole past with toying have only told you the....lighter side

Bone looks at River. To the West... Albinos are considered demons. Almost every pack I've passed through considered albinos demons.

Bone Then we'd all be demons... Every wolf here has some type of marking of the Spirits, which is what we call these markings. Wolves that have been touched by the Spirits, which makes them special in some way. Lyanori and the others were always taught this and that the Albinos are the rarest to find because only the most powerful Spirits touch them and give them this... gift... He sighs. Honestly it's not always a gift... We've had a lot of bad luck here... We use to be the largest pack known. We still are, but we're slowly getting smaller.
