Bone nods. Very good. He spins as a wolf tries to attack him. Bone takes it by the neck and throws it into the ground. He jumps down, gently landing as if he had wings. Bone looks at the wolf. Stupid wolf.

Bone I have a voice in my head that seems to tell me what's going to happen well before anything does. And it's never failed me. This is, I suppose, my gift from the spirit that touched me at birth. He looks at the wolf.

A feather hung at the wolf's neck from a string going around it's neck.

Bone growls. He was never a true one. He rips the feather off and throws it aside.

A feather was behind Bone's neck, connected to the chain around his neck. The feather was white, almost impossible to see against his white fur.

Bone A wolf wouldn't have wings to fly in the spirit world unless they found an animal to lend them their wings to fly. But the animal must choose you. It could happen to you any time in your life. Only a pup with the blood of a Cater Van wolf in them can be chosen, though. I didn't think I had any of their blood in me until I was being attacked by a bird. He chuckles. It put up quite a fight.
