The guy mumbles, "Nikolai... I'm... Nikolai..."

Alfieri stares at him, unsure what to think. "I... I think Mikhail is posing as Nikolai..."

The guy nods and moans. He was covered in wounds.

Katie: Oh my god, Nikolai. She leans down examines the wounds. We have to get him out of here before stuff happens. Alfieri, can you cover me while I take him outside? I would volunteer, but you are better aim.

Alfieri nods and walks to the door. He peeks under the door and then slowly opens it to peek outside. He quickly ducks back in, closing the door. Mikhail. he mouths to Katie.

Katie: Shocked she glances at the door and stands her ground in front of Nikolai. She looked at Alfieri through the dark and mouthed, "Where is he?"

Katie: She nods and counts to thirty seconds. Once the time was up she peeked under the door. Not seeing anything she reached for the knob, and turned to Alfieri at the last moment, wondering if it would be a bad idea.

Alfieri shakes his head no. Don't do it...

Nikolai watched the two, still moaning as if the two weren't there. He was in a lot of pain anyways.

The next door down opened. Some muffled sounds came from it as if someone had their mouth covered. Then there were sounds of struggle such as feet scuffing, a crash and some sort of sound as if someone had the wind knocked out of them.

"Nikolai!" roared a voice angrily.

There was a crash.

"Why can't you just stay down? It would make this so much easier." The voice sounded like "Nikolai" but higher in pitch.

There were more sounds of struggle and then a clatter. There were some scuff noises and then a gunshot. Everything went silent. A few minutes later, the door closed and a shadow passed under the door once more. It sounded as if he exited the building.

Alfieri held up his hand to show that he didn't want her going out quite yet. Even if the person was injured badly, they couldn't risk themselves being shot. That would get them nowhere.

Katie: Her glazed over eyes turned hard after the sound of the shot. Clenching her fists she took a deep breath and shakes her head. They need help. She whispers, controlling her voice to the best of her efforts. And what if he comes in here? What are we going to do then? I'm not saying we go out guns blazing, but sitting here like a duck isn't going to be any better either.

Alfieri sighs. "I know what I'm doing," he says calmly and softly. "It would get us nowhere if he was trying fake us and we got shot. Mikhail is a good shot and will not miss what he's aiming for often. The likelihood of that guy being alive are slim. I'm not saying he's dead but we won't have any more of a chance at saving him if we go out. Wait a couple more minutes."

Katie: Fine. She states, rubbing her temples. Where the hell is your backup supposed to be? Glancing back towards the guy behind her she mumbled a few words and pointed to a video camera. I'm not sure if it's hooked up or anything, but um...Yeah. Think he tripped the door?

Alfieri nods and decides to slowly open the door. Nothing happened, so he peeked out. Nothing. The entire place was dead silent and the doors down the way appared to be locked. He stepped out carefully and looked around again. He then began making his way down the hall to the next door.

Katie: She noticed that an end to the doors was reaching. I'm going to take a look around the open full part, alright? Watch your back. She glances behind them and carefully makes her way to the main part of the warehouse. Taken aback she stares at a line of deceased people. It had looked as if someone lined them all up and shot them one by one. Sicko. Trying not to cough at the scent she glanced around for anything else.
Skylar: Man, this is the worst birthday ever...

Alfieri slowly opened the door and peeked in. He then opened the door fully and looked around before walking in and kneeling beside Dante. He was alive but bleeding out. 'Hang on," he whispered as a group of FBI agents and police officers came through the entrance without a sound.

One saw Alfieri and watched him carefully. "Agent Vetrov?"

Alfieri turned to face the man. "Took you long enough!"

The man sighed sadly as a couple guys tried carrying Dante outside where Alfieri assumed an ambulance was waiting. "We have found him and taken him into custody."

Alfieri nods. "That wasn't Nikolai. It is his twin brother, Mikhail. Nikolai is in the next room down."

The man nods and tells another two men to go get him as well. "Well, good work. And... You said you had someone else with you."

Alfieri rubs his neck. "Yeah. She is checking out the rest of the warehouse."

The man's eyes widen and he runs down the hall to find Katie. Alfieri runs after him. "Rick!"

(On the beach)

Mikhail is walking down the beach towards Skylar. "Hey, why so-" He is cut off as a man pulls out a gun and tells him to put his hands where he can see them. Mikhail was thinking of running until he noticed other men around him and sighed. His voice became a little more high pitched as he said, "So what are you after me for, hm?"

Katie: Whips around aiming her gun at the agent. Looking back and forth between the two she slowly lowered her gun. Took you long enough. Glaring at the uniformed agent she suspiciously raises her eyebrows. I heard you running over here, why so fast? Plan on arresting me too?

Skylar: H-hey! What's going on!?! Concerned she takes a step back and covers her mouth in complete shock. No...

Rick let out a sigh of relief. "The back area of the warehouse is very unstable. No one is supposed to be here at all in the first place." He looks at Alfieri. "Well, Vetrov... If all goes well, we won't need you for a while."

Alfieri nods and stretches. "Maybe then I can enjoy a vacation in America."

Rick chuckles. "Good luck with that."

They all ignore Skylar. Mikhail watches them all and begins to take a run for it but runs right into a cop at least twice his size. "You'er coming with me," he says with a glare.

Katie: Nodded and walked back to the hallway. Is everyone out? I'm going to check on Dante. Making sure it was unloaded she tosses it to Alfieri. Leaning down to Dante she sighed and shook her head. Hey, you feeling okay? An ambulance should be here shortly I guess.

Skylar: You can't do this! It isn't right! You haven't even read him his Miranda rights! Stumbling on her words she panics.

Dante mumbles something. The paramedic looks at Katie. "Ma'am, please step away. We need to get him into the truck."

A cop looks at Skylar. "Ma'am please carry on with your own buisness."

Katie: She holds back the sarcastic response and walks over towards Alfieri. Since I wasn't supposed to be involved in this anyways I am going get back to the others and let Sky know about Dante. Turning on her heels she walked off and back to the group, noticing the police. Rolling her eyes she pushed her way through. You okay, Sky?
Skylar: No! This is my business!
Katie: Skylar. Shush. Just leave it alone, alright? Come on, let's go sit down on the dock before the reporters flood the place. Dragging her away she sits down at the edge. So what's wrong?
Skylar: They are taking Nikolai away!
Katie: That's not him, it may look like it, but it's not. Let's get off this topic for right now...you have already had a bad last couple of hours anyways.
Cameron: WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T ENTER!?!
Seth: Shut up and listen to the cops. Something obviously went down.
Ema: Sleepily had been ushered out of her tent. You have got to be kidding me...I think I will just move back into my apartment full time if this keeps up.

Alfieri nods and walks out of the warehouse. He sighs and watches as the ambulance drives away. As usual, he'd have to interrogate Dante after he recovers.

The cops begin to take Mikhail away as he struggles against the cop holding his arms.

Go check my dragon projects thread. My projects got 50x better with the arrival of the new tertiary gene (smoke). And my progen? Looks SO awesome.

Katie: Was wondering if his move here was temporary. Good things never lasted anyways, huh? Sky, Dante is in the hospital. We can go see if they will let us see him later tomorrow, okay?
Skylar: Starts freaking out. What!?! Is he okay? What happened? Is he going to be okay?
Katie: Skylar! Calm down...He is okay as far as I know. They probably won't let us in right now anyways. Come on, let's get some sleep. In the morning...er...Couple of hours from now we can go out to eat for our birthday and see if they will let us visit Dante, okay?
Skylar: Fine...

Alfieri returns a little later after Mikhail is arrested and walks to Skylar. "I'm assuming Katie told you Dante is in the hospital already. I'm sorry."

Skylar: Feeling numb she managed a small nod and got up to go to sleep.
Katie: I'm worried about her...She hasn't faced anything this hard. Ever. Her friends are like her family and Damte means so much more to her, you know?

Alfieri nods. "He's strong, though. He'll be okay." He smiles. "Let her know that despite his injuries, the paramedics told me he was moaning Skylar's name the entire way. She was apparently Mikhail's next target."
