Ema: Awww...Sleepy head. She lightly smiles and watches Zuko. That is very sweet of you, you know that? (Who is Zuko with? I totally forgot who all of my characters go to. </3)

Maddie: Karter...Hun...You look tired. (I think she was with him? Ugh. Problems. If she isn't then I will just start a fight between the girls.) Why don't you sit down and rest? Grab a plate and cheer up!~

Seth: Wraps an arm protectively around Erika's waist and grins, pulling her close. Ay, girl. How are you doing? He leans his head on her shoulder and plays with a strand of her hair, bored. You could tell he obviously wasn't too interested in the food on his plate and started messing around with everyone trying to get some much needed attention.

Skylar: Joins the others, peeking over Dante's shoulder. Who is all sitting down? I can't see. What if it's a killer? I heard that a serial killer was in the area actually...People are all talking about it. She wraps her arms around Dante's waist and glances around. I heard that is taking girls around our age and raping and murdering them and stuff. What if that happens to one of us? Oh my goodness.

Katie: Oh, please. I doubt anyone is in the exact area we are in smart one. Come on, Sky. Think about it, REALLY think about it. Like use your brain.~ No one is going to murder us and all that junk. She stabs at her food and takes a big bite of it, munching louder than necessary. We are in big numbers and stuff too so I don't think that guy is going to hurt us.

Seth: Pft...No one is going to take my Erika for sure...We do need to be cautious though, just in case...Go in groups of five if you are separating...Make sure to go with someone who knows hand to hand combat or knowledge in martial arts. Which is why Erika is going to be in my group of course so I can make sure she is perfectly safe. He tips her chin up with his index finger to look at her in the eyes. That's alright with you, isn't it?

Katie: Ewww...Ugh. You guys are being so lovey-dovey tonight. It's gross. I think I am going to take a walk. Forget your stupid rules, Seth. She finishes off the rest of the food on her plate and grabs her shawl. Standing up she glances around and sighs in disgust and begins to walk off.

((Zuko is with Maddie. Karter is with Ema... Who is with Katie? I can't remember... Dante had a brother, didn't he?))

Zuko shrugs, acting as if he didn't care. He still wouldn't admit that he loved the kid, despite all else. As far as he knew no one had noticed, anyways. Still, he wished he had another child to care for. It turned out, he actually loved kids. He'd hated them before but now that he had his own, he was beginning to love them. Of course there would be children that would get on your nerves, but he didn't mind that. Zuko had come to love children more so than he'd thought he ever would.

Karter didn't think twice about the fact that Maddie had just called him hun and sat down next to Ema, kissing her cheek. He smiled, mouth lingering by her ear. "I have it off for the next few weeks," he whispered smoothly with a smile. "They have forced me to go on vacation due to the amount of work I've been doing for them lately." He looks at Skylar at the mention of a serial killer. "There is one in the state but the last known location was far from here. I think we should be fine for a while, assuming no one does anything stupid.

Erika smiled and leaned into Seth. "Good, and you?" she said. She was momentarily distracted, not even noticing the light rumble in her stomach as she looked at Seth. "And that's fine with me, though..." she stealthily slipped a throwing knife out of her combat boots. "I think I'm prepared," she said with a grin. "I have them all around the inside of my boots." She then slid the knife back into her boot and leaned in to kiss Seth.

Dante smiles at Skylar. "Oh, we'll be all right," he said reassuringly. "Just stay around us as Seth said."

Ema: R-really!?! She tightly hugs him, pretty excited to be able to spend more time with him finally. That's great, Karter!
Skylar: Oh, I guess! Nothing to worry about too much, huh? With a light smile she glanced up at Dante. Hey, Zuko? You aren't hungry?
Maddie: She quickly stood up with a plate and quietly wandered over to Zuko, stretching her arms out with the plate. Y-you need to eat. Managing a slight nod to the child. I can put him in the tent while you eat, if you would not. Or if not that's okay too.
Seth: He grins and ruffles her hair. That's my girl!

(Actually, I think Katie was always single but someone had a crush on her.)

A giant smile spread across Karter's face. "I know," he said. "I can't wait to spend more time with you at last."

Zane, the small brown lab puppy Allyn had found, came bounding up to Zuko and tilted his head at Allyn. Sensing he was asleep, Zane kept quiet and bounced over to Skylar. He lets out a little squeal that is meant to be a quiet bark and paws at Skylar's leg.

Zuko nods and lets Maddie take Allyn. "Okay," he says a little louder than a whisper.

Karter notices a bulge in Zuko's back pocket. A part of a small black box sticks out and as Zuko sits down to eat, the box falls out into the sand just behind him. Karter would've let Zuko know at that moment but not while Maddie was right there.

Erika's smile grows. "I love you," she says lightly.

Rexx walks up and sits down next to someone, not really caring who. It is clear that he's exhausted from the day. He still couldn't understand why Tess was so moody lately. She was never this way before and it was testing him. It wore him out more than anything. He fell back onto the sand and stared at the sky. He began to wonder if it wasn't going to end up like it had while he was in high school. So many breakups and his heart shattered so many times.

Eclaire comes up behind Rezz and leans over him, right above where he was staring. "Where's Cam?" she asks.

Rexx stares at her. "And you think I'd know where your boyfriend is... why?" he asks, slightly annoyed. He wasn't in the mood for his sister's games.

Eclaire blushes and quickly responds, "He's not my boyfriend!"

"Yet."

Eclaire glares at Rexx. "Just because you're having issues with yours does not mean you have to be like this to me."

Rexx sits up and returns Eclaire's glare with his own venomous glare. "Stay out of my business, little sister."

Ema: Mhm! What shall we do while you are on vacation? At the stoke of the fire a few embers rose to meet their lover, but the sky turned them away. At the sight of the stars Ema mouthed a 'wow' in amazement and fell back into the sand to get a better view of them.
Skylar: Aw! How cute! She took the small puppy into her arms and petted him, softly kissing his head. Hey, cutie! Hey! Aren't you just adorable? Leaning on Dante she continued to pet Zane, soon falling asleep.
Maddie: Taking Allyn she held him close, putting him in the tent. She slides a pillow under his head as the soft air mattress sank a bit. Taking a blanket she unfolds it and puts it over him, tucking the edges in under him. Rest well, hun. Glancing back at him she slowly makes her way back towards the others.
Seth: He intertwines a hand with hers and kisses her forehead. Better! Seth lightly teased then smiled. I love you too, dear.
Tessa: Sighs and stares at the sand. She had screwed up pretty badly the last couple of days. Frowning she drew in the sand with a stick.
Cameron: Sneaks up behind her and covers her eyes with his hands. Boo! Guess who? I bet you can't. It's not Cameron for sure!

Karter was about to say something to Zuko, but Zuko had already noticed and shoved the box back into his pocket. Karter then looked at Ema, still smiling, and tilted his head to the side. "Well, besides the obvious," he said with a devious grin. "I was planning on taking you somewhere special tomorrow and taking you out to dinner. Anywhere you like. Maybe I'll make the surprise later on... Just because it's so special."

Zane laid against Skylar and feel asleep beside her, Dante all he while watching and wondering where the puppy had come from in the first place. He was clearly a stray and had no home, seeing as there was no collar. He felt the back of the dog's neck, tryng to see if he could feel a microchip, but there was nothing.

Zuko put the box in his front pocket this time so that it wouldn't fall out again or if it did, he'd notice. He sighed, trying to think of how he'd do it. He'd gotten a few ideas, but wasn't quite sure yet. Zuko wanted it to be special, something she'd remember. Then he got it and thought it would be the perfect idea. Either way, he was still nervous.

Erika put a hand gently on Seth's cheek and drew him in once more for a kiss. "That," she whispered, "is a kiss." She grinned at him and rested her head on his shoulder.

Rexx looked at Tessa, softening a bit. "Are you okay, love?" he asked.

Eclaire jumped back, falling on Cameron. "Cam!" she cried. "Don't do that!"

Ema: Oh! I love surprises! Her eyes grew bright and she grinned. Surprises are the best! Except surprise scares. Those can be quite...Scary. I don't mind the place to eat either! As long as they have pasta. Yum. Ema glanced over at Zuko and tipped her head. What's wrong? You look pretty nervous there, Zuko.
Skylar: Her head fell off of Dante's shoulder and onto the sand, but Skylar didn't notice. She was a heavy sleeper and the ground wasn't too far away. Slightly stretching out she managed to make a small sound and yawn, drawing the pup up closer to her.
Maddie: Sits down infront of Zuko, studying his facial expression curiously. She glanced towards the fire and cups her hands, resting her chin in them. It's really pretty out here tonight, huh? No clouds, plenty of stars, light breeze, full moon.
Katie: Had just returned from her walk. Isn't that the truth? The ocean is really pretty too. The way it sparkles, you know?
Seth: Softly draws back from the kiss. Is it now? With a light laugh he poked her nose. It was a job well done!
Tessa: Starts to nod then shakes her head. Not really...I don't know what's been up with me lately and all of my emotions just seem to be pouring over on you. She pathetically shrugs and stabs the dirt with the stick. It's not like I mean it, you know? I really love you, and would never...Ever try and do something wrong to you. Not on purpose that is.
Cameron: Wraps his arms around her waist and softly kisses her cheek. Awww...Did I scare you, hun? I didn't mean it. He lightly blushes. I do have a question though. It's a big deal to me, you know?

Zuko wouldn't answer Ema, but Karter leaned over and whispered into Ema's easr so that no one could hear. "I'd assume that it's because of that box in his pocket," he whispered. "It looks like a ring box and is small enough to be one." He then drew back, keeping the smile. "Anywhere with pasta, huh? How about Bravo's then?" (In case you don't know, Bravo's is an Italian restaurant.)

Dante chuckled. He picked up Skylar and walked off to put her in the tent. Zane woke but drowsily followed, swaying from side to side like a drunken man.

Zuko nods, smiling at Maddie. "It's very beautiful," he said, though he wasn't talking about just the night.

Erika, while giggling, said, "Indeed it was,"

Rexx sighs. "I just want to know if everything is okay," he began, "I know you don't mean it, but you worry me. It has all been so random and sudden."

Eclaire blushes. "What is it?" she asked.

Ema: She lightly smiled and glanced over at Zuko, whispering. That's so cute...She then spoke up a bit louder. Sounds great!~ I love Italian! Standing up and stretching, Ema lightly kissed him. I better get some rest. The earlier I go to sleep, the earlier I get to eat! She skipped off towards her tent and went to sleep straight away.
Skylar: Quickly woke up, her words slurred and her shut again as she tried to stay awake. Puuuuppy. Her voice wavered as she stretched out her arms for him. Pretty please?
Maddie: I'm glad you think so too. She drew in the sand with her finger for a few minutes and glanced back up at him. Are you alright? You have been a bit more quiet than you usually are. Is something bothering you?
Seth: Now, why don't you hit the hay. It's late. He nuzzled her and stood up offering her his hand. Shall I escort you to your tent m'lady?
Tessa: I know, I know. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to see if I have some odd disease or something.
Cameron: He drew quiet and led her to a cliff, glancing up at the stars, then back at her. He take out a long red box with a necklace in it. I um...I wanted to know if you wanted to be my...Um...He blushed and awkwardly looked away. I really like you.

Karter chuckles and watches her go. "Good night!" he yells after her.

Dante whispers, "He'll be with you once you're in your tent, okay?" He smiles, ducking into the tent and laying her down. He lays a blanket over her and Zane crawls under as well. Zane curls up beside Skylar, his head peaking out from under the blanket. Dante walks out to the others after whispering good night.

Zuko shrugs. "Nah, I'm fine," he says. "It's just, I..." he pauses, but continues, "I've had a few things on my mind."

Erika took his hand and stood. "Of course, sire," she said in a slightly mocking, but playful, tone.

Rexx smiles at her reassuringly. "I doubt you have a disease."

Eclaire's face becomes bright red. She is so speechless that she does not know what to say for a few moments. "Of course!" she finally says, face bright with happiness and excitement. She didn't even notice the box.

(If I don't answer for around 15 minutes... I'm playing a game AND this at the same time.)

Maddie: Oh. Well, I hope they aren't being a bother to you then. I guess I better get to sleep like the others before I pass out in the sand as well, huh? She softly kisses his cheek. Good night, Zuko. Rest well. Standing up she brushes her clothes off and walks to her tent.
Seth: Good, good. All is well. He walks her to her tent and brushes a strand of hair out of her face and places his forehead on hers. Nighty night. Glancing at her he walks off to his tent.
Tessa: She smiles and watches him. Promise?
Cameron: He sighs in relief, then in a jokingly manner he runs his hands through his hair and laughs. So does that mean I can take the necklace back? He manages with a grin, still holding out the box. Oooor...Do you want it afterall?~

"Good night and sleep well," Zuko says softly.

"Good night," Erika says. After he walks off, she goes into the tent and lays down. She pulls up her blanket and falls asleep almost instantly.

Rexx pulls Tessa close and kisses her cheek. "I promise."

Eclaire laughs, gently taking the box. "I honestly hadn't noticed it," she said, slightly embarrassed.

Cameron: He blushes. Well, at least I didn't need the necklace to bribe you with to date me I guess, huh? He kicks at the sand and glances up at her happily. Come on, dear. It's late, and I bet you are very tired, yes?
Tessa: She snuggles into him and nods. One day I wish we could all fall asleep under the stars. Then again, it sounds a bit scary, you know? Glancing up at him she poked his cheek. Raaaah. I am a monster!
Seth: Changes his mind about sleep and walks towards the remaining guys. So what's the plan, Zuko?

Ema: Wakes up around ten and gets ready.
Maddie: Stretches out and sits on the edge of the pier staring at the water.
Skylar: Man...I'm so hungry...She mumbles and carries the puppy out to the remains of the bonfire and ruffles her hair which was horribly tangled. Owww...
Seth: He patiently waits and glances at the water wondering if a morning swim sounded nice or not.
Ema: Slightly yawns and lays in the sand. Maybe I can actually get tan...
Cameron: You? Tan? He teases. Besides, I think you would look weird if you were tan...Red-heads aren't supposed to have tans. Duh.
Ema: Sticks out her tongue. Meanie. Blondes are just weird!
Tessa: Awww...She pouts at the comment and Ema soon apologizes and glares at Cameron. Has anyone seen Rexx around?
Cameron: When did you get a dog?
Tessa: Why don't you just shut up?
Katie: Fight! Fight! Fight!

Zuko got up early that morning and decided to try to ask as early as possible. He later came up beside Maddie after everything was set. "Hello," he said. "How are you?"

Erika got ready, lazily throwing on a t-shirt and jeans with her combat boots. She walks out an notices Seth. Smiling, she walks up behind him and puts her arms around his waist. "Heeey," she says. "Good morning."

Dante walks out of his tent in a tank top and black jean shorts. He stretches and walks off to find Skylar.

Rexx quietly walks up behind Cameron. He crosses his arms and tilts his head to the side, watching Cameron. "Got something to say to me or would you like to keep it to yourself?" he asks, warning touching his tone.

Karter walks up to Ema and hugs her, placing a kiss on her cheek as he does so. It is the first time he's been out of uniform in a long time. "Hello love," he says with a grin. He wears a black t-shirt and blue jean shorts. He's gained a lot of muscle since joining the police. Not because he's been around a lot, but because he's been trying to stay in shape.

Maddie: Oh, hello. I am quite alright. How about you? Thank you for asking.
Seth: Mmm? He glances at the small arms around his waist and glances over at her. Heeeey, back. He lightly smiles. Sleep well?
Skylar: Blowing dandelions. And...I hope that's not too many wishes. I just want us all to be happy is all. Obviously talking to some higher power. Her eyes widen as she sees Dante. Hey!~ What took you so long?~
Cameron: Cringes and slinks off down the beach. I really need to look at my surroundings before I say things...
Tessa: She watches the two. We don't need a fight. Please don't.
Ema: Well, well. Look who's looking spiffy this morning! I see the job has kept you in very good shape, hn? I congratulate you! Now, now. What's the plan for today? I want to try and get in as much time with you as I can before you have to go back to work.
