Nikolai shrugs. "He has a job but I don't know what it is. I do know that he used to hunt animals, though. He also has great combat skills, which helps. Very observant, very unpredictable. He can also be very manipulative."

Alfieri shrugs. "It's more fun to watch that way. I also like to use whatever resources I have at hand. Dante was just a resource of mine at the time."

Cameron: As I see. Skylar had fallen asleep in a corner and he checks the time on his phone. But you don't know what his job is? And how did he get one so quick?
Katie: Points at him. Next time. Just you wait.

Nikolai thinks about it. "He's never been without one, no matter where he's gone..."

Alfieri laughs. "Alrighty then, hun."

Cameron: Does he have any global connections or anything then? To keep a job like that wouldn't you have to?
Katie: Two hours and that's the best you can up with? She winks and walks off towards the others. At the sound of the heavy door closing Skylar immediately jumps up and states that she is fully awake.

Nikolai shrugs. "I don't know. His job has always allowed him to go wherever he's wanted, which was how we were able to come here in the first place, and sometimes it has caused him to disappear."

Alfieri and Dante walk in after Katie.

Alfieri puts his arm around Katie's waist and pulls her into him. "I could think of other things, you know."

Cameron: Watches the two and nods. How long has he had this job and you not know about it though? It's kind of weird if you ask me that he won't even tell you.
Skylar: Looks at the paintball marking on Dante. Did it hurt?
Katie: You could indeed. Haven't yet though, have you? What a shame it is. Taking her vest off she tussled his hair.

Katie: Ew, no. Almost anything but that name. She glances over towards Cameron.

Dante smiles and kisses her cheek. "Of course."

Cameron: What's your job?
Katie: Gently slips out of his grip and grabs her phone. I will meet back up with you guys at the camp site in a few, I just remembered something. Running over to a pastry shop she leans over the counter, looking at all of the cakes for sale.
Skylar: Good. She giggles and turns towards Cameron. Hey, Cam? Why didn't you invite your girlfriend?
Cameron: Huh? Oh, I guess she didn't want to come. Might have been busy.

Skylar: Glances at the floor. She wasn't one for fights. Guys...stop. Please.

"Cameron, just shut your damn mouth." Nikolai glances at Skylar. "Excuse my language."

Cameron: He stood still, but his emotion still didn't change. Well, there really wasn't any emotion on his face.
Skylar: She nods, still looking down.
Katie: Cake in bag she walked in to see if they were still in there. Hey, guys- Putting the bag on the table she glanced between them and turned towards Nikolai, pointing to Cameron. What the hell did he do this time? Sorry, Sky. You know what, Dante just go take her outside.

Dante nods and takes Skylar's hand. He guides her out. "They'll be fine, don't worry."

Nikolai sighs. "He's calling you a 'toy' and pushing his luck with Alfie's anger."

Katie: Toy, huh? I'll make a toy out of you. Punching him in the middle of his face she wiped the blood off of her hand. Go ahead and take your anger out. As long as you don't knock him out it's all good. Picking up the bag she walked back out, avoiding the two.
Skylar: She nods and sniffles. Okay.

Nikolai pulls Aflieri off of him. "Okay, let's not do this..." He looks at Cameron. "Learn to watch your tongue, boy. I won't save you a second time."

Alfieri throws Cameron a glare before they both walk out.

Dante kisses her cheek and smiles. "How about we go get some icecream? I have had a craving for some all day." He hoped the final comment would make her smile a bit.
