Skylar: I say we go hiking.
Katie: Groggily walks out from her tent. I say we go drinki- Noticing Karter she covers up her under-age mistake. ng slushies. To see who gives up first, of course.
Ema: Heeeey guys. Wrapping an arm around Maddie she lopsidedly grins. What's going on?
Maddie: Um...Frowning she took a step away and let Ema stumble around.
Skylar: We can clubbing then I guess. I know some really good NON-alcoholic places. A groan from Katie was an immediate no. How about the movies?
Katie: Anyone have a good idea?

Alfieri chuckles at Katie's near-mistake.

Nikolai shrugs. "Well," he begins. "I say we just leave our depressing friends here to figure out what they want to do while we go out somewhere." He leans back on his hands.

Katie: Never ever big brother. And depressing? What do you mean by depressing?
Haruka: So you guys want to have some fun, eh?
Skylar: Um...I don't trust strangers.

Nikolai shrugs. "Well I'm pretty sure Karter was being quite depressing."

Alfieri stretches. "Anything is better than just sitting here doing nothing."

Katie: Roller skating, bowling, um...What else is open...Not much really. Just choose something.
Skylar: He was being pretty depressing.
Cameron: We could play some paintball.
Katie: Grins at Cameron's suggestion. We could indeed, Cameron! You finally had a good idea! Great job!
Skylar: Oh goodness...

Nikolai looks at him, horrified. "Not again!"

Skylar: Um...Sure.
Cameron: I want to be on the opposite team of Katie!
Skylar: Me too!

Alfieri gets up and pulls Katie into him. "Don't worry, love. We can deal the pain together."

Nikolai chuckles and grins. "Or will you two be too busy hiding?"

Alfieri throws Nikolai a glare. "Don't even."

Dante shakes his head and laughs. "These two... Wow."

Katie: I am sorry to say that this couple doesn't run from a threat. If you guys are even considered one.
Skylar: Something else, huh? Well, at least they aren't killers or anything.
Cameron: Killers?
Skylar: Shrugs. Never can be too careful with strangers!
Katie: So have we decided the teams?

Katie: You hear that?
Cameron: Hear what?
Katie: That's the sound of me not caring. She gasps and looks horrified, rolling her eyes.

Katie: Indeed. Alright, let's get the ball rolling. After walking for a good fifteen minutes she does a show-girl pose. After you, ladies.
Cameron: Mumbles something and walks in.
Skylar: This will be interesting. Grabbing the rather thin vest she zips it up and grabs a gun.

Katie: Stays behind and watches everyone find spots to start off in. Grinning she pinpoints advantage points from certain spots in her head.
Cameron: Fits himself into the nook of a tree and sits there trying to look "blended" with it. In all truth it wasn't really working out for him though.
Skylar: Looks out from behind a tree waiting on the first splatter to come soaring across.

Nikolai fits his body into a tree that was a bit more deformed than most others. It was oddly shaped and allowed him to fit right in while being protected on both sides.

(The idea of that tree came from an old one that used to be in my yard. We used it for hide and seek.)

Alfieri pulls himself into a tree near Katie, making sure that he made no noise. Leaves should conceal him from view but he kept his awareness high.

Katie: Gun first she pointed it out behind the tree. When no one moved she made her first shot and a curse word came forth from one of the players. After a few more seconds passed there was a blaze of paintballs whirling by.
Cameron: Who was the one Katie almost shot, ducked down as another paintball almost hit him.
Skylar: Putting a hand over her mouth to contain her giggles she aims for Cameron, who was soon hit.
Cameron: Grateful that no one else had hit him and he was un-scathed he carefully walked into the viewing room just as he saw Katie make a hand gesture to Alfieri signaling she was going to move in towards the others.

Alfieri nods and keeps watch from above. He makes sure he is ready to move if a paintball is shot at him.

Nikolai peeks around the tree and sees Skylar.

Alfieri saw Nikolai peek around the tree and grins. He jumps down from the tree and sneaks around without being seen. He jumps into the tree Nikolai is hiding behind and stands above him. He points the gun at him without aiming and hits him in the back of the neck.

Nikolai cries out in pain and looks up at him. He glares and walks back to the viewing room. "Now watch him jump from tree to tree like a monkey..." He wipes off some of the blue still on his neck. "That was very unpleasant."

Cameron: Winces. Looks like it...You have a dark purple bruise there, too.
Skylar: Taking a step into the open she is quickly pulled back, and tries to scream. A hand covers her mouth before she can let out a sound though and she steals a glances at the person who captured her. Katie? Skylar whispers.
Katie: Yeah. She whispers and points to the remaining players. We are going to take out everyone together...Alfieri and Dante will never see it coming. Glancing around and through the trees she makes sure no one was watching and finds her way back to Alfieri. I don't know where Dante is hiding, but probably some where near Skylar. I am thinking that I can go straight in and take out Skylar and you can go around and get Dante. Katie had a sick plan in mind, and no one knew the whole truth of it yet.

Alfieri looks at her and nods, though his eyes don't leave her. Being in the trees, he could see much of the area. She'd left and come back without being taken out or taking anyone else out. He didn't know her well, but he became suspicious. If she were anything like him, she had alternate plans for them all. He, however, gives nothing away about being suspicious.

Nikolai chuckles at the scene. "Now who shall play the game of deception first?"

Cameron: I don't know, but it's really suspenseful. It's like one of those sucky movies that you end up having to see what happens in the end.
Katie: Slowly nods and sneaks her way back around to Skylar.
Skylar: Oh, hey, Kat. Are we rea- Gasping she glanced at her vest at the paintball splatter. No, Katie...How could you do this to me...
Katie: Glances around and hides behind a tree waiting for the duel to finally begin.

Alfieri moves as soon as Katie left. He moved so silently and so swiftly that it is assumed no one would have noticed unless they had eyes on him from the moment he started moving. He saw movement in the corner of his eye and, like a gymnast, fell from the branch as a paintball sailed by him, grabbed the nearest branch and swung onto the next, landing on his feet. He looked in the direction it came from and saw Dante not far away in a bush. As Dante was about to take another shot, Alfieri made small hand movements that only Dante would have seen. Dante took the shot and Alfieri dodged it. He swung over to Dante's position while Dante tried to shoot him. Landing in front of Dante, Alfieri pushed Dante back into a bush and shot a paintball at him. Alfieri was immediately ready to move if a paintball came at him and watched his surroundings.

Nikolai crosses his arms with a grin. "Hm... Well, at least it is interesting. Although... I've played this little 'game' with Alfieri before. This right here is the reason I will not team with him in games such as these."

Skylar: Well, at least she had plans too.
Cameron: I guess she was expecting it-
Skylar: No. They just think alike...
Katie: Slowed her breathing down so she wouldn't be heard. Katie was unsure of winning this time, he was a pretty good aim. Noting that he was in the trees all the time she checked glanced up in the air. Not finding anyone she looked at the places where the others were found. Normal people would not go back there, but usually why would you go back if- her thoughts were cut short as she glanced into the distance. He had found her. Yet, she still might have a chance, doubtfully, but it was worth a shot. Not making any hasty movements she stood still.

Alfieri sees Katie and grins. He rests his gun on his shoulder and appears to be in a very relaxed stance. Beside him Dante had vanished. All that was left was a paintball splatter on the ground from a faked-out shot. Alfieri could've took him out then and there but that would be no fun. He watched as Dante appeared behind Katie and shot her in the back. Dante looked up at Alfieri and Alfieri shot Dante in the neck in a split second.

Katie: Turned around to see Dante then spun back around, watching Alfieri, a smirk plastered on her face. So that's how it's going to be? Let someone do your dirty work for you?
Skylar: I...didn't see that coming...
Cameron: It's scary how good of an assassin he would be. He...he wasn't one was, he?
