Ilarion Speed is sometimes better,though.For hunting.And stealth.Can you balance good enough to jump from tree to tree?

Trapped history lesson. X3

Ilarion seemed to ignore the question. There were few that could.I wasn't here to see them,but Mikhail told me stories.Actually,there were few that could fly but Mikhail was not just one of the first to come here,but also the very first land animal to appear that wasn't a mutation.He told me that it gave the,as he called them,Soarers a new way of catching food.Being part bird,they had the advantage of the sky but most had no claws.The ones that did were falcons or eagles,which weren't found very often and most died because they hadn't known how to fly when they first came.I'm sure you can figure out what happened to them.They also had size and speed on their side,but it didn't help because their claws weren't very big.It took a long time to take down just one deer and at that time,deer was very hard to find.Anyways,they found Mikhail a month after he'd arrived.Already,he'd taught himself how to hunt as a wolf and not a human.He helped the Soarers and they helped him.In the day,he'd hunt for them and at night they'd give him what he wanted to eat of the catch and provide protection from the mutations.Mikhail and the Soarers became close.Friends.Family.They did anything for eachother.They even risked their lives to escape...By this time,Kapsirko had arrived.

Kapsirko was silently listening.He walks to them. When I came,I was afraid.Terrified.Mikhail would leave to hunt,while I stayed with the Soarers.I didn't know them and often I'd run away only to be dragged back by Mikhail.He knew I was weak.He knew I couldn't make it on my own.The Soarers said I was only another mouth to feed.A problem.I was no help.They wanted me gone.But Mikhail didn't.They still planned on getting rid of me but Mikhail told them plain,I go and he goes with me.They kept me.Mikhail saved my life,honestly.Eventually,we came up with an escape plan and I proved useful. He looks up at the sky. They said it was impossible and that they couldn't get through.But Mikhail and I...We were small.We could get out and find a way to where the cage ended.It didn't go very well,though.The birds carried me and Mikhail to the top.We climbed on their heads and were about to get on the bars when we heard a loud creak and when it stopped,a click.Mikhail saw it first.He told everyone to stop.All around us,small and skinny guns had come out of the bars and were aimed at not me and Mikhail,but the Soarers.It only took one shot to each of them and they all were killed.The bullets exploded on contact,but nothing big enough to kill me and Mikhail,obviously...

Ilarion Only one survived and caught Mikhail and Kapsirko.The Soarer soon died,though.Of what,they don't know...That's why no other Soarers have appeared here and why no one has suggested the escape through the top.
