Ilarion sees a deer and sneaks up on it.When it turns,giving him a clear shot at the neck,he darts out at amazing speed and is on the deer in seconds.He causes the deer to fall on impact and sinks his teeth into it's neck.

Ilarion shrugs. To you but once you see it so many times it gets old. He looks up and freezes.

The creature stares back at him.

Ilarion Kenton...

The creature tilts it's head.It bends down and slowly approaches.

Ilarion slowly walks backwards.

The creature suddenly stops and lets out an almost humanlike cry of pain.It stumbles back,hitting and breaking a tree in half,and spins around.The creature's screeches start turning into what sounds like human screams.It starts getting smaller and smaller.The spikes disappear within it's body along with the tail.It's snout gets shorter and shorter.

The boy moans.

Ilarion shakes him. He's younger by about 2 years.Wake up.

The boy slowly opens his eyes.He looks at Ilarion and Jacob. Who are you guys?

Ilarion Ilarion and Jacob.You?

The boy sighs. A monster...

Ilarion It's not your fault.And I didn't ask what you were.

The boy Derryl.

Ilarion looks at him. He has the bright green eyes.This is the only one we've seen.The eyes have always been green.

Derryl I've seen another.But...It's different.

Ilarion Explain.

Derryl Snakelike head.Skinny.Longer tail.Long legged.Long arms,too.Sometimes uses them as front feet.I haven't gotten a good look at it yet.That's all I've seen.The thing is huge and fast.It usually appears at night,but it's hard to see because it blends in very well.It's black.Bright blue eyes.

I love drawing these creatures. :3 Lol

Derryl Run and it'll be on you in a second.It's like when I turn.I don't know what I've done and I never remember after I've changed.But I have it semi-controlled.

Ilarion looks at Jacob. It's like a wolf.You and it could stare at eachother,not move and the wolf won't attack.But make any sudden movements and it attacks.

Ilarion And if it starts moving toward you,walk at it's pace backwards but make sure it's not pushing you into a corner.
