Tegan jumped a tad when he heard Kody. I didn't know you were there.

Kody I was.Did you lie?

Tegan It's not that I hate them...

Kody Then what?

Tegan I don't trust them...They can be...Unpredictable. He starts walking.

Kody What happened the day after your house burned down?

Tegan stops and remains silent.

Kody walks up to him. What happened?

Tegan My dog...He killed my parents...All my life he was a sweet,lovable,and playful dog.Until that day...I don't know why he did it,but he nearly killed me as well.Three times an animal tried to kill me after I helped them and gave them a home.One killed my parents,another my friend,and the last my girlfriend...I couldn't save them...I was so useless...

Kody That's why you've been trying to prevent others from being your friends.You're afraid their dogs will turn and kill you or them.

Tegan My luck with animals isn't the best...

Tegan is first up.He goes up the ladder and looks around at the forest.He sighs.

Selena: wakes up and pets Cyan and wakes Silo up
Silo: mom is cyan gonna be okay?
Cyan: is feeling much better

Tegan Ah.She should be able to get up and move in maybe a week or so.It should heal a bit by then.If it hurts her to stand at that time,she'll need to lay back down for some more time.
